This program was a pioneering program in Anomali, with the purpose of combining the spirit of empowerment and debate, and still in line with Anomali’s vision to empower youth through education and training. This program encourages students from high schools and varsities to form their own debate/English speaking clubs in their school as a distinguished club. Anomali only provides assistances in forms of coaches and modules, but the one that sustains the club itself are the students. In the process, students will learn about organization and leadership which are the key elements for a successful career in the future.

1. Clarity
The key elements of a good organization are a clear and unambiguous management system, as reflected in the organization chart and also an understandable and lucid constitution. When every decision is based on a found basis, only then can the organization become fair and respectable.

2. Sustainability
The programs created from the organization must not serve several individuals only, but also ensuring the livelihood of the organization for the future. This would assist the students not only to focus about the present but also the future, with improved aims.

3. Family and Friendship
Youthfulness must also be reflected in the organization, since a-too-serious-of-an-organization will soon be deserted, because youth are by nature seeking fun and companionships. Seeing the nature of Indonesian student organization, the debate clubs must strive to find uniqueness, and in the same time provide fellow friends with a place of cheers and acceptance.

4. Prestige
The organization must often be clashed with competitions and challenges. This will test the wits and maturity of the members, and Anomali will provide assistance to ensure that no matter what the outcomes, everyone are winners. Empowering the organization by empowering the members.

5. Student Empowerment
Anomali coaches/ trainers are not teachers. We merely provide the knowledge and tactics and offer advises. But the decision making process must be undertaken by the students along with all the effort to maintain the organization.

6. Open-mindedness
Debate is selected as the vessel for empowerment, since debate induces open-mindedness and awareness, which is substantial for our youth in facing the ever increasing tensity in everyday life.

1. Youthful Approach
Our coaches are trained to approach the student not like teachers. Since a different and unique approach is very necessary to attain their interest, curiosity and respect. When the trainers are accepted as friends, the students found it easier to communicate and share problems, which make it easier for the trainers to improve the students when knowing exactly where to fix.

2. Connection Building
In this program, the students are encouraged to create and maintain a flow of communication and reports to related teachers and headmaster/mistress in regard of their debate club. This way is effective due to the lack of student activity and their pacifist nature in Indonesia. This way will teach students to make initiatives and create good impression first-handedly and also induce a sense of pride in their own creation.

3. Assistance, Not Patronizing
Student’s role is very fundamental in this program; hence it is the role of the coaches to guide them to decision making and effective management. Coaches merely offer advises, but it is up to the student to decide. But we will be there to assist them, no matter what is the consequence of the decision.

4. Acknowledgement and Cooperation
Although it s the students role to build good network with teachers and headmasters/mistress but it is the coach’s role to make sure that the debate club is well-appreciated. Make sure that there is a sufficient rewarding system such as bonus point for the achieving students, certificates from the school, sufficient publication, etc.

5.Good Coach for Good Club
It is not the student’s role only to better themselves in debate but also for the coaches/ trainers. Debate always evolves, in it is the main duty for the coaches/ trainers to catch up with the knowledge and thus offer better insights to the students.

6. Self-identity
For the organization to be believed by its members, then a good and attractive identity is needed. It is the trainer’s obligation to encourage students to find their own identity (which in most cases involve the club’s logo, name and website) and support it. This method has proven to be effective in building a strong sense of pride in self invented identity, which triggers more reasons to achieve
