Anomali is a non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering youth in Indonesia through training and education. Our goal is improvement towards the lives of the Indonesian youth by helping them find employment, bolstering their skills and knowledge, opening up their minds, and providing them with the opportunity to excel in their respective fields. We help facilitate youth by indulging in activities pertaining to these goals. Anomali is based in Malang (a municipality in East Java) and Bandung (the capital of West Java). Our members and volunteers consist of achievers from various universities throughout the country. The majority of our members and volunteers are mostly students and youths who are called upon to help their fellow youth as is of essence in achieving our cause.

Each member of Anomali is unique. They each possess colorful and impressive backgrounds and bring with them extensive and specialized knowledge gained through numerous personal accomplishments. They are nationally well known for the achievements they have accomplished and are brought together by one common idealism, to be able to share the dreams that they have lived and make a difference for their fellow youth.

There are several tools, which we have adopted, in empowering youth. One of them is through our Youth Center. Anomali is currently in the process of setting up a youth center in West Java (Bandung) and East Java (Malang). This youth center is a pilot project. If proven successful, we would set up similar youth centers in other areas in the country, once sufficient means have been available to us. The youth center will be a place where youth can spend their leisure time in a positive manner. Whether it be enhancing their English proficiency, learning how to set up their own business, setting up commercial web sites, or simply reading in the library or socializing. Whatever the case, this center provides a safe haven for them to spend their time shielded from the negative effects of drugs, thuggery and other negative influences which they maybe prone to elsewhere. This youth center would facilitate the empowerment of youth through various training programs. It will provide courses aimed at increasing the market value of their respective participants in the job market and help them gain employment or become self employed. The participants are not charged at all for this.
